Cultured cells
Grow the cells in the laboratory is known as cultured cells. It can be yeast, bacteria, plant, animal, or human cells. Cultured cells are helpful for testing medicines, research purposes, and diagnosis.
Cell Culturing Conditions
In the cultured cells, researchers used controlled conditions, like temperature, medium, essential supplements or nutrients like amino acids, carbohydrates, etc., and growth hormones.
Techniques of Cell Culturing
Two techniques of cell culturing are present, which are given below:
- Adherent culture:
In the adherent cell culture, the cell lines or cells are attached with solid support, which is the essential primary culture that is attached or adhered to.
- Suspension Culture
The cells or cell lines in the suspension culture are suspended in the liquid medium or free floating. These are not adherent to culture.
